Child Death Overview Panel Summer Newsletter
Published on 13 July 2018 by Sarah Dunne
The Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) is a subgroup of the Local Safeguarding Children Board, and is responsible for reviewing all deaths of Suffolk infants, children and young people from birth up to the age of 18.
The aim of the CDOP is primarily to collect and analyse information about Suffolk child deaths and undertake to identify and address learning points that will help to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for children and families.
Read the Summer Newsletter which focuses on Summer Safety - keeping safe around water, trampolines and garden safety, beat the heat and other tips for road safety, car seats and safer sleep. There is also some advice on talking to children and young people about emotional wellbeing and gangs and knife crime.
Please see our dedicated page for information about CDOP
